Black Magic Drone Studios brings a unique fusion of aerial and ground-based filmmaking to events across the South Coast and beyond. Founded by an ex-teacher with a nerdy obsession for all things aviation, I swapped the classroom for the camera and drone to combine my technical know-how with a creative passion for storytelling. Today, I capture events from perspectives that surprise, engage, and leave a lasting impression.

Using professional-grade kit, including the DJI Mavic 3 Pro for crisp, cinematic aerials and the Sony FX3 with quality lenses for dynamic cinematic ground shots, I provide complete visual coverage that flows seamlessly from the sky to the stage. Every frame is carefully crafted, from the initial shot to the final edit, so you receive content that’s not just beautiful but built to tell your story.
